Why do you lose money on the stock market

There is a clear answer to the question of how it is that you lose money on the stock market

First you need to find out why you are investing at all.
You accumulated capital, received an inheritance, won a lottery, sold a house, retired from the workplace, received compensation. The premise is that the capital market is not your second home, but when it comes to money - there are often those who tend to think that maybe yes.
Meeting with money, no matter where it comes from but definitely matter how much
there is, takes you through a stage in life where you start thinking about what to do
There are the "safe" who think that real estate is the best place to put all the money (it is not) and there are those who think that putting all the money in a bank deposit is the ideal solution (most not) OK.
And there are the traders in the stock market. Those who think they are traders.
Those who choose real estate - think they know how to find a cheap apartment and sell it for double
Those who choose the capital market - think they know how to trade securities - buy cheap and sell expensive.
These new capital market traders will, in most cases, make all possible mistakes and record losses in almost any time frame of their activity.
The new capital market traders do not see an asset in front of them (share, bond, mutual fund). They see speculation.
The new capital market traders see in front of them a playground with swings, slides and a large sandbox (as it used to be many years ago) where you can both enjoy thrills and make profits from trading in securities.
And this is exactly where the dog is buried.
The capital market is not a playground and not a place for producing daily thrills. Buying a security is like buying a property for all intents and purposes. And we all know, even if we are not professionals in the capital market, that profit on an asset is a process that takes time to mature after which we can reap the rewards and profit.
So if you want to stop losing on the stock market - abandon the playground and the thrills and invest in assets.
.
good luck to you
